Fabric Printing at Home Blog Tour & GIVEAWAY!
When Julie contacted me and asked me to be part of her blog hop for her fabulous new book, I was SO excited! Julie is a fabulous surface design artist, no doubt about that. But to get a sneak peek at her book, Fabric Printing at Home? How could I resist?
Julie breaks down the myriad of ways that you can print with any found object. She’s opened my eyes about seeing the mundane items in my kitchen as a new way to transfer prints to fabric. Food? You bet. Take a look at what I was able to do with a carrot!
Isn’t that really cool?? If you are a novice printer, Julie breaks everything down for you, from what tools you need, to the type of paint to use. I think you’re really going to like this book.
Check out this print I made using a glue gun! Yup, a glue gun. But I’m not going to say how, you will have to check it out for yourself!
To that end, I’m going to be giving away one copy of Fabric Printing at Home to a lucky reader, if you comment below!! One entry per person please, USA only. The entries will be open until Monday February 16th at 5pm and then a winner will be selected. GOOD LUCK!!
I’m not the only stop on this super fun blog hop, you really need to stop by everyone else’s blog, because they have giveaways and goodies too!! and especially check out Julie’s blog too at http://www.threadbornblog.com/ as she’s doing a giveaway everyday too.
