Good friends and good things (and a link to a tutorial)
Today was a good day. I got lots done. I saw one of my oldest friends and it was like no time had passed since we had last seen each other. In fact, this week hasn’t been too shabby. Sewing for Christmas is done (but I’m keeping the project a secret for now). I am in the middle of sorting a box of scraps and getting rid of some of the slivers of fabric that can’t become anything else. In the bottom of that box was two sets of signature quilt blocks. One was from a wedding that has already split up. The other was from my original term as Quilt Guild President in 2009. I’ll post a picture soon.
Over on the Machine Quilting Unlimited blog, I posted a tutorial on folding your fabric so it’s all the same size. Check it out!
