How about an idea for some lace doilies?

Going through my piles of doilies and lace, I dug out these heart shaped doilies for Valentine’s day and threaded a pretty pink ribbon through them.  A couple of loops tied on the ends o the ribbon and they hang from the fireplace on the hooks that normally hold Christmas stockings.  I did use a little spray starch to get them to stay flat, but not a lot.

What’s nice about this is that the doilies are not harmed and it can all be taken apart to use the doilies in another way!
