My BERNINA-versary!
I’ve had my BERNINA for a whole year now! I can hardly believe it! It’s my BERNINA-versary!

This is me at Material Girls in La Plata MD for one of my Ambassador visits. The machine is a B 540.
Some of the things I’m finding different with my BERNINA 750 QE from the machine I had before:
– I basically had to teach myself how to piece all over. It’s not that different, but the 9mm feed dogs are much wider than I’m used to.
-I love how the machine doesn’t let me make silly mistakes. The D range of feet for the 700 series have sensors in them that do not allow your machines to do stuff that the foot attached will not allow. Like having a small hole for straight stitching, the foot sensor will not let you select a zig zag stitch. Amazing.
-The knee lift. OMG where has that been all my life. My previous machine had one, but the BERNINA knee lift is so much better.
-The BSR (BERNINA Stitch Regulator) for free motion. One of the things I have been “knocked” on my judging sheets for in the past is the evenness of my free motion stitches. The BSR has revolutionized my stitching. I can’t ever go back.
I’m sure there’s more, as I learn to try out all the latest feet and stitches this machine can do.
