Lichter der Stadt (City Lights) – © Cheryl Sleboda – 2013 – 12 x 12 inches

I know it’s been ages since I posted new work, so I have a bit of catching up to do.  This is a 12 x 12 inch piece mounted on canvas.  The blue LED sequins do not flash, but the lights that are tucked behind the city buildings are running on a LilyPad Tiny, which has four different pre-programmed outputs.  I had fun picking which lights were going to flicker, flash, beat, etc.  The buildings are held out from the surface of the background quilt by stacks of black felt.   The fabrics are all Cherrywood Fabrics handdyes!
