REJECTION in it’s many forms…
It’s that time again, when the emails go out that everyone hates to see. I’ve seen rejections in it’s many many forms from book proposals to teaching to quilt entries. I have enough of these letters to wallpaper a small bathroom. I have rejections in face to face meetings that sting like crazy and you just want to cry. But they keep me grounded. And I keep entering. I keep applying. I keep proposing. It’s how I know I continue to work as an artist. I wrote about “What to do when your Work is Rejected” that you can read from one year ago this very day by clicking here. Do not let your heart be troubled. Your work is uniquely you. Keep entering. Keep proposing. Keep applying. I’m proud of you.
