Take a Business Class with Me at Quilt Festival!
I have been very lucky to take awesome business courses as part of Quilt Festival in the past, and I’m super stoked to be teaching a few of my own again at this year’s show in Houston, TX! I have 2 three hour classes and one that is all day! Here they are:
First up on Tuesday, Oct 31 is 250. BUILDING THE RIGHT QUILT BRAND FOR YOU *$51
Distinguish yourself from the crowd! Learn why you need to create branding, and how to build that brand, both by design and completely by accident! We will also cover the tips and tricks to create a logo that represents you and how to leverage your brand across social media platforms. Perfect for artists, designers, businesses, and anyone looking to be noticed *CLASS FEE – $45 + MAT FEE – $6 = $51 Supplies—paper, pen, & pencil.
Next on Tuesday Oct 31st is 274. SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIES FOR THE QUILT ENTREPRENEUR *$51
Increase your reach both inside and outside your local market using social media. Confused by the various offerings? Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more will be covered. And then on Wednesday Nov 1st, I’ll be teaching 337. VIDEO BASICS FOR QUILT ENTREPRENEURS *$135
Video is all the rage online and in social media, but are you afraid to try it? Learn Sleboda’s video production basics for quilters that you can do in your own home. We’ll cover software, hardware, and how to get comfortable being on camera. Go home with a video sample recorded in class. *CLASS FEE – $85 + MAT FEE – $50 = $135 Supplies—paper, pen, & pencil. Be ready to be on camera—wear a solid color (not white) shirt or sweater with 3/4 or long sleeves.
If you have taken any of my webinars, then these are a MUCH deeper dive on these subjects, with access to ask specific questions about your situation and get direct coaching from me. And while YES, I’m still teaching my art classes at the show (which you can also still sign up for!), these classes hold a special place in my heart. When I was “up and coming” in quilting, these kinds of courses offered by Festival helped me get my quilt business off the ground. I am so honored to be able to give back and teach what I know to you.
