Technique of the Week – Week 20 – Notan Cutting

Notan is described pretty well here at this website, but I find that seeing pictures of it also helps, like these here from Google! Seriously, there’s some stunningly awesome yet simple ideas in there!

The thing about notan is that it’s artsy without being overly complicated.  It helps your design sense without bringing the colors into it, and that really can help you as an artist.
