These pastel dye sticks are easy to use and seriously fun. I can definitely see this being a way to get kid’s artwork into some quilts!
My sample is not colored in very dark, but you can lay down as much of the dye stick as you want to get a much darker effect. You can see where I made some water effects in a heavier line. This ended up looking a lot like crayon on fabric, but much more permanent. As I say in the video, I washed this after heat setting and I think the colors remained very bright. So give this one a try, and get the family involved!
